Burning Man

In wenigen Tagen ist wieder Burning Man. Und irgenwann fliege ich hin und nehme Frau und Kinder einfach mit.

Mit dem Finger auf der Landkarte

Habe ich vor einiger Zeit noch für World Wind geschwärmt (und tue es heute noch), so muss ich zugeben, dass Google inzwischen ebenbürtige Nachfolger präsentiert:

• Google Maps (für den Webbrowser)
• Google Earth (vergleichbar World Wind)

Der Versuch von Microsoft, Google Maps zu mit MSN Virtual Earth zu deklassieren, hat mich nicht überzeugt - nicht zuletzt, da das Bildmaterial bei Google deutlich besser ist. Google greift indes schon zu den Sternen.

love what you do

Glücklich ist, wer sich seinen Job aussuchen kann. Vielleicht ist das ja eine Motivation in der Schule gut aufzupassen, denn wer gut ausgebildet ist, kann sich folgenden Luxus leisten:
